Wind turbine One Year Results 2,957 KWH

This our second year as a wind turbine owners, but our first year running constantly. 

The total produced for the year was 2,957KWH.

Here is graph of the power by month.


















Here is the wind for that same year broken two 1/2 2011 and 1/2 2012
This was not a great year for wind as you can see below.

  1. Would you mind summarizing your experience so far? I'm studying what drives people to make decisions like you did in an effort to help others in the future.

    It looks to me like you spent well over a year just getting your turbine to work. And now that it's worked for a year it's grossly under performing. Please understand that I'm not trying to offend or make fun of you. I'm just politely asking you to help others from wasting tens of thousands of dollars.

    I'm particularly interested in what happened to your original installer and what the state is doing about your rebate now that it's obvious your turbine should have never been eligible for a rebate.

  2. Hi - you should check out my FAQs for these answers. My first post talk about why I did this. My old installer is still selling other brands that have less complicated systems. I'm not sure it is a complete waste since it is still working and I've got a tower that still works. The tower was the biggest cost, some day I could put another turbine on the tower. My state shared my cost and the failure. I've lost more in the stock market and it wasn't as much fun.
